The Camarines Norte State College shall provide higher and advance studies in the field of education, arts and science, economics, health, engineering, management, finance, accounting, business and public administration, fisheries, agriculture, natural resources development and management and ladderized courses. It shall also respond to research, extension and production services adherent to progressive leadership towards sustainable development.

history

Camarines Norte State College (CNSC) traces its origins to Camarines Norte High School, established in 1920 in the town of Daet. It later became Camarines Norte National High School and was officially converted into a state college through Republic Act No. 7352 in 1992, signed by President Corazon Aquino. This legislation unified several educational institutions across the province, including Abaño Pilot Elementary School, which became the Abaño Campus. As one of the oldest and most historic parts of CNSC, Abaño Campus continues to play a vital role in the college’s academic development and now serves as the designated site for education programs, including teacher training and foundational instruction.

Today, CNSC operates multiple campuses across Camarines Norte, each offering specialized academic programs tailored to the needs of local communities:

Main Campus (Daet): Serves as the central hub for administration and houses the College of Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business and Public Administration, College of Computing and Multimedia Studies, and the Graduate School.
Abaño Campus (Daet): Focuses exclusively on education programs, particularly teacher training and pedagogy.
College of Trades and Technology (Jose Panganiban): Offers industrial and technical courses.
Ret. Judge Antonio C. Entienza Campus (Sta. Elena): Provides education programs to students in the northern part of the province.
College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (Labo): Specializes in agriculture, forestry, and environmental science.
College of Fisheries, Aquatic Sciences, and Technology (Mercedes): Focuses on marine and aquatic resource management, offering programs that support sustainable fisheries, coastal development, and environmental stewardship. This campus plays a crucial role in advancing research and training in aquatic sciences, particularly relevant to the province’s rich coastal and marine ecosystems.

Together, these campuses reflect CNSC’s commitment to accessible, high-quality education and its mission to foster regional development through instruction, research, and community engagement. COENG

The College of Engineering (COENG) at CNSC trains future engineers through programs in civil, electrical, and mechanical fields. It emphasizes technical competence, innovation, and service, preparing graduates to contribute to infrastructure and sustainable development.

CBPA

The College of Business and Public Administration (CBPA) at CNSC trains future leaders in business, governance, and public service. It offers programs that develop management skills, ethical values, and research competence, preparing graduates for careers in both private and government sectors.

CFAST

The College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CFAST) at CNSC specializes in fisheries, marine biology, and aquatic resource management. CCMS

The College of Computing and Management Studies (CCMS) at CNSC develops future IT and business leaders, equipping students with skills, innovation, and service for global opportunities.

COTT

The College of Trades and Technology (COTT) at CNSC provides technical and vocational education, offering programs that develop practical skills, innovation, and industry readiness. COED DO-Day: United in Service, Rooted in Care

The College of Education proudly hosted its campus-wide DO-Day—a purposeful day of service where students, faculty, and staff joined hands to clean, organize, and uplift their shared learning spaces.
